Day 7 of social distancing
Today I woke as the sun shone through my curtains at 7:01. Looks like I’ll have to get used to being woken early by the sun. I looked at my phone and scrolled through all the messages I had received from my friends the night before. I replied to the most important ones and headed to the kitchen to begin my usually normal day. When I got to the kitchen my sister was already up and had me made me a bowl of porridge. After my porridge I decided I’d head back to bed until ‘school’ had started. Luckily enough for me hadn’t received any work for today but I still had some notes from yesterday I needed to catch up on. When I had my notes done, as it was such a nice sunny day, I felt like doing some exercise so first I headed to our small gym we keep in the upstairs of our garage. My legs ached after it but I really felt like I had the energy to run a marathon, so I went for a run with my sister. I made some vegetable soup for dinner as having 7 people in my family it can be quite hard to please everyone, but a soup always goes down nicely with a family of farmers. Of course soup wouldn’t fill big rugby playing boys alone, I also made potato wedges and chicken goujons I had learnt in home.ec I done for junior cert and they always go done a nice treat. For the rest of the day I lounged around watched a bit of tv and of course facetimed my friends as our daily routine. I haven’t left our property in the last 7 days as mainly I haven’t had any plans but also I don’t want to risk anyone’s health in my family. My mum already works in a hospital so that’s enough risk as it is. I made some fried Cajun chicken noodles for my tea and ate them with my family. I went for my shower at 9:30 and then hopped into bed to catch up on some Netflix and called my boyfriend before falling asleep at 11:30pm.
