Bus leaves Kilkenny College 8:45am on Friday 6th September and returns Monday evening.
This is a physically demanding trip, entailing water sports and hill walking

Students will need to have money to buy tea on the return journey on Monday evening, we generally break the journey for this. There is a garage shop within walking distance of where we are staying for those who feel they will need extra sustenance during our stay!
All students travelling should bring with them

Walking shoes or Wellington boots

Runners (an old pair that will get wet and doesn’t matter if destroyed)

Woollen hat and scarf

Swimming togs, towel and toiletries

T-shirt

Cord trousers, tracksuit bottoms (denim is not suitable for activities)

2 warm thin jumpers/fleeces

Refuse sack for bring wet gear home

One piece of luggage each (no framed rucksacks)
If students have their own wet suit and/or booties, rash vest, etc it is a good idea to bring them.

PROPOSED DAY TRIPS
It is envisioned that we will offer 6 day trips of which students will choose 2. These day trips will visit different areas in Ireland and will include cultural, educational and fun activities. Further details will be available during the Student Induction Day on 27th August and as we progress through the year.
Active Day trips
To be advised. Where possible we offer additional day trips. In the past these have included a Bogathon, Cloughjordan Eco Village and an Army Boot Camp.
