Every day we hear a new story ‘the lungs of the earth are burning’ ‘the bee population is decreasing’ ‘people are suffering from war’. These are all things we hear on a daily basis yet all we’re doing is looking at it through a screen that we simply depend on to ‘survive’. Since when did we need to know what our favourite celeb was doing at this exact moment in time. It’s frustrating to see people not paying giving attention to the person in front of you but instead to your phone! Goodness people can’t go to a meal without posting a picture of it on their Instagram story. Why can’t we put down our technology and go outside and see what is happening in the world and figure out a way to help it. It’s a simple solution and for it to happen we have to be the generation to do it. It’s our world and someday we will be in control of it, so why not start early. What can we do to help? Go plant a tree, help your local community plant a garden or just bring your dog on a walk for some fresh air. Believe me it makes a difference. Link up with charity in your community to see what you ca do to help. Send supplies in for the shoebox appeal or better make one yourself for that child who might not have ever had a Christmas present.(see what I did there) it’s up to you to make a difference and I know every single person in my year can.
