GPS in Farming

The GPS was fitted to the tractor, John Deere were the first to have the GPS. Their GPS is Firestar 3000, it is a yellow dome located on the front of the roof of the cab. It is a option when buying the tractor. Other manufactures like Fendt, Case, New Holland and Massey Ferguson and Kubota Landini and Zetor decided to use the GPS system. It is very useful it can map out the area of a field for the tractor. When it is mapped out the tractor takes over the driving.
