Most Haunted
Most Haunted

Our preparations started on the twenty eighth of August for all TY music students to put on a Halloween concert for all students. We had a lot of preparation and organisation to do if we wanted to be ready for the show on the twenty second of October.
We designed posters, appointed people to various jobs and organised a set list. We started our preparation by learning the opening piece to ‘Thriller’ by Michael Jackson. We had rehearsal every day at two o’clock to fully prepare us for the dance. In our own time we chose what songs we wanted to do and if we wanted to do solos or group pieces. We started advertising our show by putting up posters. We started ticket sales each day in the front hall, the tickets cost five euro. We booked the sound and lighting equipment. Over time the rehearsals became easier and less frustrating because we were working as a team and we were learning the dances and songs.
On Monday the fifteenth to Friday the nineteenth we had rehearsals everyday as a group during some class time. On Sunday the twenty first all music students came back to school at two thirty for dress rehearsals and sound check, which went very well, thankfully there were no major problems (that we couldn’t fix).
There will be two shows on Monday the twenty second of October one at six thirty and the second at eight o’clock. We feel a bit nervous but we are as prepared as we could be. We are very excited for this show we want to show everyone how hard we’ve worked to get to the standard we are now. We hope that everyone that comes enjoys a frightful night.
